True Facts about Christopher Martin Adams: -He is related to Richard Warren, one of the original Mayflower Pilgrims, through his mother's side. And Samuel Adams, one of the original founding fathers of the United States of America, on his father's side. -He was born in Dallas, Texas in a Presbyterian Church. -His favorite color is Magenta & it's inverse color, which is some shade of green which he cannot see very well because his is partially color blind. -His favorite expression is "All Is One So Lets Have Fun." -He has created ~ 600 songs from 2001 -2010. -Christopher Martin Adams has had so much fun creating all of the music on this webpage for all who have ears to hear what is here. -He is extremely thankful for his parents & their love & patience. -In 2001 Christopher wanted to buy a video game by the name of "Lemmings Paintball" which involved animated violence between opposing "Lemmings" teams, but his parents disproved of violence and so he was gifted a computer program called "Ejay" instead. "Ejay" was a cheap program that allowed the re-arrangement of pre-made techno samples. And thus was born his musical career. He made 3 albums under the alias, "Kandi Rapper" which consisted of cheesey techno licks, comic hip-hop scharades, and bubblely trance balads. This stage allowed Chris to get a feel of how music "flows" & moves from one section into the next. He considers this stage a period of "musical trainning." Some notable song titles from this era are "Relase Me, She Said", "Taco Hip-Hop," & "Magenta Love." -In 2002 Christopher recieved his first Fender electric guitar from his parents & started creating punk & metal music by recording into Ejay through a simple computer mic & using only is thumb on the strings with his left hand & only strumming upward strokes with his right. He eventually learned of the "power chord" and used this as his main musical technique for many songs on the guitar. The song's content ranged from serious poetical contemplation to jovial genre parodies to solo instrumentals electric guitar & drums played on a Korg keyboard. Some notable song titles from this areaare "Police Oppression," "One Day I Had A Test," & "TMPRS" -Sometime in 2003 Christopher recieved a Yamaha Mixer/Recorder from his parents & started forming his "home recording studio." Around this same time he recieved the software program "Acid Pro," and started to play around with sequencing samples unaware of the program's importance to his later work. Nearly 100 songs made on the Yamaha from this era were deleted in an early attempt to re-define what it meant to record music. From 2004-2005 Christopher begain a new project under the name of "Death Acquired Through Auido". His first album as D.A.T.A., "Change", would mark a change in style from his previous metal & punk based themes to more personal & exploritive feelings. This then continued in "Dolls & Machines" & further darkened in "The Process." Some notable songs from this era are "Electronic Revolution," "Gold," & "Stomach Full Of Fingernails" Then in late 2005 - early 2006 Christoper started to use Acid Pro on his brother's computer to play with recordings he had made on a tape recorder. This has been the most significant shift in composition style thus so far in his musical carrer. I was know wear a hoodie with long sleeves and a big front pocket as a teenager, I would hide my tape recorder in the front pocket and wire the microphone up the inside of the hoodie and through the sleeve, this way I could authentic remarks and moments on record without the phonyness that occurs when some are uncomforable being recorded. In late 2006 Christopher's adapted his current monkier, "A Human Expressing Experience" which began with his travels to California to study at the Art School called CalArts where he continues to make this music by sequencing & layering field recordings in Acid Pro.
